Steve Davis has served as representative for the 109th State House District since 2004. The district includes portions of Henry County.
Davis, 37, is a member of the House Insurance, State Institutions and Property, Children and Youth, and Transportation Committees. Davis received the Legislator of the Year award from the Republican Liberty Caucus in 2007. The group works to advance the principles of limited government, individual liberty, and free markets within the Republican Party and throughout Georgia.
Davis is a licensed Realtor and works as sales director for a local construction company. He and his wife, Melissa, have three children: a son, Ryan, a freshman at Georgia Southern University and two daughters: Kelli and Ashli, middle and elementary school students in McDonough. The family attends Kelleytown Community Church. |
